The woodruff 'Sterntaler' is traditionally used for German May wine. It finds additional use in juices, jellies and teas. For this the young leaves are used which usually are harvested shortly before full bloom. Woodruff has an calming effect. Use petals only in small quantities and only shortly before they bloom.
