Choose a warm, sunny and sheltered location for your tomatoes. Tomatoes grow best when they are protected from the rain by foil, glass or a roof overhang. This reduces the risk of infection by leaf blight. The grafted part of the plant must remain above the soil.
The Italian Mini 'San Marzano' tomato 'Caprese' is a new, flamboyant variety. The long bite-sized fruits have a characteristic, Italian shape and excellent, sweet-fruity taste. They are ideal for tasty decorations of fresh salads or cold platters.
