Pumpkin bread/rolls


1 kg pumpkin flesh
2 tbs. water
1 kg flour
250 g sugar
250 g margarine
a little salt
80 g yeast or 2 p. dry yeast


Peel the pumpkin, remove seeds, cut into pieces and cook with water until creamy.

Mix the cool pumpkin puree with the other ingredients, then form the dough to a bread.

Allow the dough to rise for 30 minutes in a large loaf pan or on a greased baking tray, then bake at 180°C for approx. 40-50 minutes.
